[:

[00:01:07] Phil: Oh this Well, I was a little because sometimes I always wind up waiting till the weekend to watch these movies And I was like, Oh my God, each one is like over two hours. Like, you know, no, I'm in the

[:

[00:01:19] Chris: Like, I mean, I was like, yeah, I wanted to watch them both. Like, it's good that I've seen both of them a lot because yeah. I only watched each one once and, and this season [00:01:30] trying to do better. Cause all of y'all were kicking my ass on that. And like James comes in and yeah, I watched it 37 times. I'm like, shit.

[:

[00:01:47] Phil: more than I have.

[:

[00:01:53] James: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's, I had a harrowing experience as well with the Speed. I thought I owned it. Yeah. And I [00:02:00] don't. So I was like, okay, I'll go up to like, we had dinner last night. I'll go up to a movie trading company. They had three copies that they could not find. I helped them scour the store. They closed.

[:

[00:02:37] James: And then I'm like, shit, I still have to watch Jurassic park. God. So it was a late night. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's morning breakfast. It was right.

[:

[00:02:58] Phil: No, I love [00:03:00] it. And, and I don't know if you researched it, but you'll, you will be absolutely blown away by the box office. I don't, we'll save that for the thing, but I, I was amazed. There's

[:

[00:03:12] Phil: All right, cool. We can talk about that then.

[:

[00:03:15] James: You said you watch Speed Freshest? Yeah, that's the one that's freshest in my brain.

[:

[00:03:33] James: Hey, Chris, you know how you feel like we've been whipping your ass? Well, I only did three pages on yours, but James's pick, I got 17 pages. 17 fucking pages. Fuckin heck. Did he get

[:

[00:03:44] James: Now, to be fair. I appreciate you feeling vulnerable in this moment and Philip shittin all over you.

[:

[00:04:05] Sherry: Did you need the silent thing?

[:

[00:04:11] Chris: be a speedy short review.

[:

[00:04:26] James: this. It was in focus.

[:

[00:04:40] Phil: What does that mean? Well, Keanu Reeves, you know, you know, big action star, but, but Sandra Bullock in this, oh boy.

About your hosts

Philip McClimon

Profile picture for Philip McClimon
Philip A. McClimon is an author who likes to write about the end of the world (post apocalyptic, Sci/Fi), mostly because he thinks the shopping would be awesome (No crowds, everything free). He likes heroes that are the strong, silent type and not necessarily male. By silent he means up until the time there is something snarky to say, usually before, during, and after doing something cool.

He writes Urban Fantasy under the name Billy Baltimore for no other reason than that he likes the name. Many of the same rules for his other stories apply to Billy’s, strong silent types, smart mouth, does cool stuff, but these stories take place in a made up town called Hemisphere and involve stuff you only ever hear about on late night conspiracy talk show podcasts, which are, if you think about it, pretty awesome too.

So, that's Phil. He's not strong, rarely silent, and isn't known for doing a lot of cool things.

But his characters are.

Sherry McClimon

Profile picture for Sherry McClimon
The wife of Philip McClimon. Probably all that needs to be said. She is responsible for his bad behavior not being worse than it is. She is concerned that her mother might listen.

James Harris

Profile picture for James Harris
James Harris is a tech guru and musician extraordinaire; he also loves movies. A pretty decent guy all around.

Chris Sapp

Profile picture for Chris Sapp
Chris Sapp has been a friend for a lot of years and a writer for a lot more. An encyclopedic knowledge of story and movies, he can take you on a deep dive into script and screen. Another pretty decent guy, which are the only kind allowed around here.
