[00:00:17] Chris: right?

[:

[00:00:19] Chris: there's not zero evidence.

[:

[00:00:40] Phil: And he's a

[:

[00:00:41] Phil: like, just like almost genius level. He probably should be working for NASA. Sure. But at the end of the hollow moon theory, he was like, There's not, no evidence. Okay. Anyway,

[:

[00:01:00] Phil: He was saying that there's even historical evidence back in records, you know, Roman times and this, that the moon was not always there. That it showed up one day, okay? So, if you want to go down rabbit holes, there are plenty for, to go

[:

[00:01:27] Chris: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. I [00:01:30] didn't say I never said I didn't I don't think we went to the fucking moon, right? All I've said is there's a lot of theories about how we faked it to beat the Russians Yes, that kind of makes sense to me. I can see some sort of thought there, right? I'm not saying that we fucking faked shit I'm saying this whole race and we had to be the best like there's a new movie coming out called the Fly Me to the Moon with Shane Johansson and he's like if I remember right part of the mission that actually goes and she's like hired to Fake it in case the mission fails you know but I [00:02:00] felt like but as a movie like If you don't believe that that we went to the moon this movie doesn't fucking work like you can't buy the world Right, right.

[:

[00:02:07] James: Well, there's still people that think the earth is just great.

[:

[00:02:13] James: Yeah.

[:

[00:02:31] Phil: I said, no. He said, well, you can find the coordinates. For where the landers are.

[:

[00:02:37] Phil: And now that is true. I looked them up and there's nothing there when you look No, no, I'm joking.

[:

[00:02:48] Phil: There are coordinates and he said you could see him with a telescope You cannot see them with a tell it with any earthbound telescope because the lander is only a couple meters across The largest earthbound telescope can only see something as close [00:03:00] as like, that's a 75 or more meters.

[:

[00:03:21] Phil: I think we went to the moon. I definitely think we

[:

[00:03:34] Phil: Yes. We

[:

[00:03:36] Phil: Yeah. I've heard the laser thing too, which is absolutely demonstrable and repetitive and repeatable.

[:

[00:03:41] Chris: That's

About your hosts

Philip McClimon

Profile picture for Philip McClimon
Philip A. McClimon is an author who likes to write about the end of the world (post apocalyptic, Sci/Fi), mostly because he thinks the shopping would be awesome (No crowds, everything free). He likes heroes that are the strong, silent type and not necessarily male. By silent he means up until the time there is something snarky to say, usually before, during, and after doing something cool.

He writes Urban Fantasy under the name Billy Baltimore for no other reason than that he likes the name. Many of the same rules for his other stories apply to Billy’s, strong silent types, smart mouth, does cool stuff, but these stories take place in a made up town called Hemisphere and involve stuff you only ever hear about on late night conspiracy talk show podcasts, which are, if you think about it, pretty awesome too.

So, that's Phil. He's not strong, rarely silent, and isn't known for doing a lot of cool things.

But his characters are.

Sherry McClimon

Profile picture for Sherry McClimon
The wife of Philip McClimon. Probably all that needs to be said. She is responsible for his bad behavior not being worse than it is. She is concerned that her mother might listen.

James Harris

Profile picture for James Harris
James Harris is a tech guru and musician extraordinaire; he also loves movies. A pretty decent guy all around.

Chris Sapp

Profile picture for Chris Sapp
Chris Sapp has been a friend for a lot of years and a writer for a lot more. An encyclopedic knowledge of story and movies, he can take you on a deep dive into script and screen. Another pretty decent guy, which are the only kind allowed around here.
